Mr. Hogg spent half the year in Florida and the other half in Fairfield.
He was born in Middletwon and was a life-long resident of the area.
He retired in 1975 from Armco where he worked in the hotstrip mill.
He was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Middletown.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Pogue of Fairfield, Mrs. Jean Craig of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Joan Best of Springfield, Va.; and Mrs. Phyllis Palmer of Middletown; 10 Grandchildren; one brother, Paul Hogg of Dayton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Booher officiating. and burial in Woodside Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
