Old cemetery records show that L.H. Vanhorn purchased six grave sites in Lot 123 of the old section. Graves 1, 2, 5 and 6 are marked as "filled", with no names entered. There is no notation made for graves 3 and 4. It seems probable that Harry's father, Louis Henry Vanhorn (1850-1916), mother Adela Riley Vanhorn (1861-1910), sister Cora Ethel Vanhorn Lacy (1892-1912) and Harry (1888-1912), who died within six years of each other, are in the "filled" spaces. Harry's parents both died in/near Creighton.

Spouse: Adela "Della" Riley was born Jun 1 1861 in IL, died Jan 13 1910 Creighton. Her father was born in IL, mother in OH. NOT Adela H. (Cooley) Van Hart 1826-1910, buried Mt. Washington Cem MO.

Birth year shown as Sept 1879 on 1900 census, however he was not in household 1880 census, birth year probably 1880 or 1881 based on ages in later census. He is in Kansas City, Wyandotte KS through 1940 census. 1910 as J. Clarence Vanhorn/29 with wife Margie, dau Helen. In 1920 as Clarence Van Horn/39/MO-IN-IL, with Margie J and Helen. In 1930 as James C. Van Horn/48/MO-IN-IN with Margie J and son Kenneth N. In 1940 as Clarence J. Van Horn/59 with Margie and Kenneth. He worked in construction.
