OGDEN, Utah - Sybil Marran Graham Naylor, age 93, passed on February 25, 1992, at McKay-Dee Hospital of a heart attack.
She was born September 4, 1898 in Joseph, Utah to William and Sarah Graham. She married James LeRoy; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a member of the Canyon View 2nd Ward. She enjoyed singing in the ward choir and held several positions in the Relief Society and Primary. Sybil lived her life in Richfield, Salt Lake City, Wattis, Carbon County, Logan and Ogden, Utah; and California. She served as the head housemother for nursing students at Samuel Merritt Hospital, Oakland, California.
Survived by a son, James LeRoy (Madeline) Naylor, Jr., Salt Lake City; daughters, Eileen (Frank) Jones, Ogden; Marjorie (Rod) Wood, Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter-in-law, Irene Naylor, Lawndale, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband and two sons, Donald R. Naylor and Boyd G. Naylor.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 1992, 11 a.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden. Bishop Leslie Boothe, Canyon View 2nd Ward, officiating. Family and friends may call at the mortuary, Thursday, 6-7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to services Friday.
Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.
