CAMPBELL--April 6th, Earl D., aged 80 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Leila Campbell and beloved father of Dr. James D. Campbell, 708 Crescent Road. Born in Lobo, Ont., he graduated from McMaster University in 1912 and came to Calgary where he taught in the local high schools retiring as principal of Sunalta Junior High School in 1950. Mr. Campbell served overseas in the First World War with the 8th Field Ambulance then later as an officer with the 50th Battalion, C.E.F. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Also survived by a sister, Mrs. Bertha Gibbens, Strathroy, Ontario.
