Margaret Cole was the wife of Daniel David Cole and the mother of eleven children. A Death Notice that I will attach gives the names of her surviving children at the time of her death: These children survive her: Charles Cole of Michigan; Nelson and Nicholas Overfield Cole of Colorado; John Cole and Harriet O. Cole Mowry, wife of William F. Mowry of Meshoppen, PA, Mary Cole of Jackson, and Savantia Cole of Philadelphia. Margaret and David Cole had thirty seven grand children and thirty seven great grand children and one great-great-great grand child at the time of her death. Two of her son's: Benjamin Cole died of a gunshot wound during the Civil War and was buried at Ateitam, Washington Co. Maryland and I have not yet determined the name of the second son, but will keep researching. A son, Daniel Cole preceded her in death when he was age 60. In this biography I used Meshoppen, Wyoming Co, PA for her place of birth, however at the time she was born in 1810 it would have been Meshoppen, Luzerne Co, Pennsylvania. As of this time I have not yet been able to determine the names of her parents.
