Fay Ashley Foley was born July 10, 1893 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away January 28 at St. Petersburg Florida. She graduated from West High in 1902 and then went to New York City and graduated from N .Y. City Teachers College in 1905.
She came to Newell Iowa in 1906 and married Dr. F. C. Foley in October of that year. To this union two children were born, Marjorie and Guy and she also took Dona to her heart and loved her as her own.
She was a Daughter of the American Revolution and a member of the National Mayflower Society.
She leaves to mournher departure her husband, Dr. F. C. Foley, one daughter Marjorie Killebrew, one son Guy of Hartley, one stepdaughter Eldona Baurose of Davenport, Iowa, one brother Spencer Ashley of Newell, Iowa and seven grandchildren.
