Roberta Kay Courtright, 60, passed away at her residence in Friestatt (sic), Missouri on October 29, 2015.

Kay was a longtime Quapaw, Oklahoma resident, she recently moved to Friestatt to be closer to her family.

Kay was born on September 13, 1955 to Roy Reed and Maxine Towner in Van Buren, Missouri.

Kay worked at Sandstone Gardens in Joplin and Greenhouse in Joplin. She enjoyed flower gardens and arrowhead hunting.

Kay is survived by one daughter Michelle Chaney of Evansville, Indiana, one brother Keith Reed of Goodman, Missouri, two sisters Rhonda Ford of Mount Vernon, Missouri, and Kayle Peacher of Reeds, Missouri.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage, MO.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 from 6:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home.
