D. Irene Daub, 89, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
Born April 16, 1915, in Pekin to Jacob and Daisy Yokum Grubb, she married Duane C. Daub on Aug. 6, 1951, in Tennessee. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Surviving is one daughter, Judy (and John) Skaggs of East Peoria.
A member of Sears Retirees Club, she worked at Sears Roebuck department store in Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1978 as supervisor of the credit department.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Clover Leaf Chapter, in Creve Coeur.
Private graveside services will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
