Born March 1, 1901, in Peoria to Charles and Orilla Todd Bigler, she married Ira Johnston on Oct. 20, 1920, in Bloomington. He died Aug. 5, 1980, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving is one daughter, Jacqueline Viehmeyer of Green Valley, Ariz.
She was a member of the Daughters of Nile Otho Temple 36 and the Order of the Eastern Star, and she was a 50-year member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, all in Peoria. She also was a member of the Universal Craftsmen Council of Engineers and the African Violet Club, both in Peoria.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
