"Al" lived and died on land owned by his family for over 76 yrs. He proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Fell in love and married his waitress from the Varsity Drive-In in Bay City, Michigan on August 14, 1954. Retired after 30 yrs of employment, working as a skilled tradesman in the automobile industry. He was very active until his stroke in 2000. Earlier he had enjoyed bowling, golfing, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. Later he enjoyed listening to the Tigers baseball games, watching motorcycles buzz by the house (secretly hoping to be on one) and he always enjoyed the company of his pets. He is survived by two daughters, a son in law and his son. As well as his dog Buddy and two cats Sweet Pea and Freezer. Al passed only 10 months after his wife. He missed her dearly.

Both of my parents passed at the same time….2:27 pm.
