Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA. He was born to the late Guyton Otis Terry, Sr. and Marion Elizabeth Turner Terry and graduated from Albany High School in 1965. Jimmy served in The United States Air Force during Vietnam and attended and studied at Georgia Southwestern College.
Jimmy was self-employed and an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Thomas Nelson Camp # 141. He was preceded in death by his brothers, J. Cameron Terry and Lt. Col. Guyton Otis Terry, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Toole of Albany, GA, his sister, Louise Terry Gresham of Albany, GA.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 at Mathews Funeral Home.
