Walter Buckner Dead.
Walter S. Buckner, who had been suffering with cancer of the stomach for the past six months, died at his home on route 2, Oneonta, Monday. The deceased was 46 years of age and was one of Blount's best citizens. He was a brother of ex-Sheriff R.W. Buckner and W.T. Buckner of Oneonta. He is survived by his widow and ten children, ranging in age from 3 to 24 years. The funeral services were conducted at Antioch Church, near his home, by Revs. Brand, Fendley and Locke.
