Arthur E Remus, of Athens, died Apr 5, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born Apr 6, 1931 in the town of Frankfort, WI, son of the late Richard and Caroline (Bothe) Remus. On Oct 18, 1961, he married Ellen Flick in Menomonee Falls.
Art drove truck for many years and then farmed in the Athens area. Most recently, he enjoyed providing transportation for the Amish community.
Along his many interests, he enjoyed going to auctions and playing cards.
Survivors include, his wife, Ellen Remus, Athens; a daughter, Susan Remus, Wausau; two sons, Arthur "Joe" Remus, Edgar and Scott Remus, Athens; one granddaughter, Amy; two sisters, Augusta Solchenberger, Germantown and Alice Larson, Casper, WY; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle Remus; and one brother, Albert Remus.
