Memorial services for Melba Ann Hall Hargrave are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, October 29,2015 Myrtle Springs Baptist Church Quitman with Brother Heith Mitchell officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00-800 PM Wednesday evening October 28th, Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.
Melba was born October 12, 1942 in Bedias, TX to the late Eldred and Marie Upchurch Hall and passed away October 25, 2015 at her residence in Quitman. She was employed by ISD as aid and secretary for 27 years, a former secretary for the Quitman Chamber of Commerce; member of the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church choir, a Bible study leader, W.M.A. member and former G.M.A. leader and friends of Quitman Public Library volunteer.
Melba is survived by her husband Ben Hargrave, Quitman; 2 daughters, Marie Clanton, Sulphur Bluff and Tracy Acker, Chapel Hill; 2 brothers, Arthur Duane Hall, Caldwell and Raymond Leo Hall, Point Blank; 1 sister Betty Margarett Battles, Houston and 6 grandchildren.
