John F. Hummer (69) of Clear Creek township died at his home Sunday morning at 9:43 o'clock, after an illness of over a year from cancer.
Mr. Hummer was born in Stark county, Ohio, September 15, 1850. He is survived by Ernest and Charles Hummer of Wabash, Rafe Hummer of this city, and Fred Hummer of Clear Creek township. There are also 23 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday at 12:30 o'clock with the Rev. Mercer officiating. Burial will be at the Falls Cemetery in Wabash.
