Cheryl A. Emery, 57, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at home after a long illness with her family by her side. She was born in Waterville on April 15, 1955, the daughter of John A. and Dora M. (Quiron) Blair.
She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1973. Cheryl met Ronald Emery in 1970 and later married him in Fairfield on July 6, 1985. Cheryl worked at Caswell's Liquidation Center for 32 years as an office clerk. She had many hobbies and interests including gambling, reading, knitting, camping, taking walks with her sister, cooking, which she loved, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Ronald Emery of Fairfield; a daughter, Michele Bouchard and husband, George, of Fairfield; a son, Jay Emery and wife, Sarah, of Leeds; mother, Dora Blair of Shawmut; grandson, Zack Hann of Fairfield; granddaugter, Taylor Bouchard of Fairfield; five brothers, Neil Joseph and wife, Donna, of Fairfield, Dana Blair and wife, Wanda, of Newport, Steve Blair and wife, Hope, of Rhode Island, John Blair and fiancee, Penny, of Durham, Rex Blair and wife, Michelle, of Winslow; three sisters, Dianne Scott of Shawmut, Gloria Blair-Chapman and husband, Mark, of New Hampshire, Janet Blair and partner, Marty Rankin, of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, John Blair of Fairfield.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Becky Emery, Hospice, Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Pennsylvania, Dwight Leighton and the employees of Caswell's for the care and support offered during Cheryl's illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
