Obituary of William “Bill” Kent Neafus, 67; of Jeffersonville.
Funeral services for William "Bill" Kent Neafus, 67, of Jeffersonville, Indiana will be held at 11 AM, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. He passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Bill was born on October 3, 1948 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Kenneth Neafus and Doris Neafus Osborn. He was retired from Hall Brothers Auto Parts Store, proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Neafus; step-father, Vernon "Sonny" Osborn; and step-son, Mac Stephens.
Bill is survived by his two sons, Johnny Neafus and his wife Kristy; Billy Neafus; two siblings, Robert Neafus and his wife Merrilyn; Brenda Lahue and her husband Jim; two uncles, Jimmy Curts, Denzil Curts; five grandchildren, Brayden Neafus, Kylie Neafus, Megan Stephens, Zachary Stephens and Nathaniel Stephens; and a host of nieces and nephews.
