Jane E. (nee Taylor) Ix of Tenafly, NJ on October 24, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William Edward Jr. (2010), formerly of Lancaster PA. Loving mother of William Edward Ix III, Jonathan Taylor Ix, Jeffrey Drayton Ix, Gregory Stewart Ix and Elizabeth Earle Ix. Also survived by 11 grandchildren: William Edward Ix IV, Timothy Larkin Ix, Jennifer Marie Ix, Jonathan Taylor Ix, Michael Louis Ix, Sarah Ann Ix, Megan Elizabeth Ix, Katelyn Taylor Ix, Leigh Stoughton Ix, Gregory Stewart Ix Jr, and Charles Edward Buccellato. A graduate of Sweet Briar College in West Virginia. Jane is also a member of the John Hart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, being a direct descendant of John Hart, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, from New Jersey.

Visitation on Tuesday 10:30 a.m. -12 noon at Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Dr., Tenafly. Funeral Mass immediately following at Mt. Carmel Church, Tenafly. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in her name to the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, 450 Randolph St., Elkins WV 26241.
