Services for Rex Vance Brantley, age 69, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2015, in the chapel of Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville. Burial will follow at the Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Currie will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Brantley died Monday, October 26, 2015.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Brantley served three tours in Vietnam, and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Frank and Bronnie Brantley.
