Pearl Knight Love, 93, of Blackville, died at her daughter's residence in Barnwell early Wednesday morning, Dec. 1, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Mercer Funeral Home in Denmark, with the Rev. David Grubb officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Martin, Michael Martin, Owen Ott, Bubba Bamberg, Lee Love, Bill Frye, Roger Love and Terry Love. Honorary pallbearer will be Chad Love.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Mercer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Love was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Orangeburg County.
She was a daughter of the late Daisy Johnson Knight and Luke Knight. She was married to the late Shellie Love of Blackville. She was a member of Healing Springs Baptist Church.
She was employed with Blackville Manufacturing and Sawyerdale Sewing Room. She was predeceased by her husband, Shellie Love; six brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn and husband Bill Frye of Barnwell and Shirley Martin of Lexington; four sons, George (Juanita) Love of Atlanta, Robert (Edna) Love of Blackville, Wilber (Betty Jean) Love of Salley and Billy (Bonnie) Love of Denmark; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mercer Funeral Home of Denmark is in charge of arrangements.
