Diana S. Burton
Diana Sue Burton, 67, of Luray, died on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born on Nov. 22, 1947, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Buck McKinley Alger and Regata Cubbage Alger.
On March 10, 1966, she married Eddie Burton, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Linda Perry of Luray, and Cynthia Brown of Stanley; two brothers, Buddy M. Alger of Shenandoah, and Terry Alger of Stanley; a sister, JoAnn Comer of Shenandoah; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Todd Burton; and a sister, Delores Marie Lucas.
A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Berry. Burial was in the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
