Thelma Wilcock Marsh, 94, passed away peacefully at her home in Escalante on October 25, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 13, 1921 in Escalante to William Daniel and Ruth Cottam Wilcock. She married Dale Marsh, September 6, 1938 in Brigham City. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple, June 27, 1949. He preceded her in death December 12, 1981.

As a faithful member of the LDS Church, she served in many Church callings. She was an avid supporter of her husband as he served in the community, church and political affairs. She served as secretary for the Steed Sawmill for a number of years.

Thelma was a good homemaker, a skilled seamstress and she produced many beautiful quilts and doilies. Also, she took pride in her gardens and was a hard worker.

She is survived by her two children: Sharon Dale (Eve) Marsh; Kathleen (Warren) Woolsey; 8 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, Shirley Marsh; grandchildren, Brian and Karen Marsh; sisters, Virginia Bauer and Retha Shurtz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Escalante LDS Stake Center, where friends may call on Friday from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to services. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemeter
