DUPREE, Latisha L. (Evelyn D. Anthony) age 55 of Trotwood departed this life on Thursday, May 31, 2007. She was born June 29, 1951 in West Blocton, AL to Napoleon L. and Lenora D. Anthony Sr. She had resided in the city of Dayton since early childhood. After attending Sinclair Community College and the University of Dayton, she earned a degree in Criminal Justice. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of twelve, and became a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. W. C. Thomas Sr. Her love for God and pursuit for his plan for her life led her to unite in fellowship with many church congregations with many great leaders, but ultimately she would return to the church where she became an ordained evangelist, The House of Prayer (Beth' Tephila Temple), under the leadership of Rev. Charles Lee. She is preceded in death by her father, Napoleon Anthony Sr.; brothers, Napoleon Jr., Billy Anthony and a sister, Betty Hines. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Lenora D. Anthony; brothers, William Wayne Anthony and Leroy Hines Anthony (Shawana) of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Lenora Anthony-Davis; aunts, Hazel Taylor of Dayton and Shirley Gresham of Denver, CO; uncle, James Ware; special friend, Barbara Curtis; special pet, Jeremiah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. SATURDAY, June 9, 2007 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Pastor Leroy Anthony, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Final disposition will be cremation.
