10 Aug 1915: Uriah D. BoItz, age 70 years, 3 months and 12 days, for a quarter of a century employed at the Lebanon and Colebrook furnaces, died at six o'clock this morning from a complication of diseases at Hillside Farm Steelstown, where he for a number of years engaged ln farming. He had been suffering for three years. Mr. Boltz was 70 years old He leaves his wife and these children: Dr. Elias K. Boltz and Paul H. Boltz, both of Philadelphia; Mrs. Herbert Campbell, Washington, DC; a brother, William Boltz, of Jonestown; and two sisters, Mrs. Ephraim Copenhaver, of this city; and Mrs. Emanuel Behney of Lickdale, are also left. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Washington Camp, No. 254, POS of A. Funeral Thursday at his home. Services at Ebenezer Church. Interment at Ebenezer Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
