James Ermal Breeding, Sr., age 75, of Maynardville, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was a member and deacon of Alder Springs Baptist Church. He was a retiree from K.U.B. of 33 years. He was the 4th District Road Commissioner and a member of the Union County 911 board.

Preceded in death by son, Jamie Breeding; parents, Jake and Sillar Breeding, and brothers, Cas, Mondo, Hub, and J.R. Breeding. Survived by wife of 51 years, Sue Loy Breeding; daughters, Pam (Kenny) Swafford, Kim (Jason) Malone; special granddaughters, Mackenzie Graves and Paisley Breeding; and several nieces and nephews. Also, a host of special friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Byrd's Mortuary with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Byrd's chapel with Rev. Clifford Fraker, Rev. Jimmy Davidson and Rev. Clarence Byrd officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday October 28, at Byrd's Mortuary to proceed to New Loyston Memorial Gardens.
