Ruth Mary (Bilderback) Miller age 84 formerly of Canton and more recently residing in Zanesville, Ohio passed away Sunday May 4, 2003 in the Genesis Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville following a brief illness.
Born in Trinway, Ohio on February 19, 1919 she was the daughter of the late, Charles and Frances Marie Bilderback. She was raised in Orrville, Ohio and was a graduate of Orrville High School. She lived the greater portion of her life in Canton and was a member of Lowell United Church of Christ. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Bilderback and her husband, W. Bruce Miller who passed away January 19, 2000.
Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Kay L. (Miller) Roach and her husband, Dr. Lee E. Roach of Zanesville, OH. Her son William B. Miller Jr. and his wife, Virginia "Ginny" Miller of Canton. Three grandchildren, Patti A. Nunnally and husband Doug of Hilton Head, SC., David L. Roach and wife Debbie of Zanesville, OH. and Dr. Karen M. Collins and husband, Matt of Fishers, IN. Two great grandsons, Adam Nunnally and Michael Roach.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. There will be calling hours at the funeral home one hour before services on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. A private burial will take place on Monday in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
