She was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Lorain and was a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated from Lorain High School. Mrs. Stursa was a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church, Amherst, and enjoyed Bible study, her book club, reading and walking. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Harley V. Stursa; sons Gary Stursa and Tim H. Stursa, both of Lorain; daughter, Cheryl L. Poyle of South Amherst; brother, Louis Bozich of Lorain; 10 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Theresa (nee Kobal) Bozich. Friends may call Tuesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst, where services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. The. Rev. James Smucker, pastor of Heritage Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
