Mr. Rowland was born in Jeff Davis County. He was the son of the late John Henry (Sambo) Rowland & Bessie Brewer Rowland. Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by a brother: Milledge Rowland & a grandchild: Ashleigh Brae Rowland. Mr. Rowland was retired from Fuel South and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.
