Eileen lived in Cincinnati for forty years and moved to Dublin in 1995. As a child and young person, she was a gymnast with a group that entertained groups in the Louisville area, including troops at Fort Knox.

She was a prominent leader in the early years of the city of Forest Park, Ohio where she owned and edited the Forest Park News and was the city Historian and onetime Citizen of the Year. She also worked as a librarian in the Cincinnati libraries. An avid reader, swimmer and traveler, she loved playing games with friends and family and did so until the last week of her life. During the past eight years at Friendship Village, she was a frequent visitor and companion to sick residents at the Health Center.

Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Fred J. Kieffer, she is survived by their children, Robert (Karen) of Powell, Thomas (Patricia) of Boston, Donald (Erica) of Milwaukee, Mary Patricia (Thomas) of Malawi, Africa, Larry (Pamela) of Cincinnati, Karen(Carlos) of Boston and David (Denise) of Westerville. T. Kiefer Davis of Oregon was embraced into the family by Fred and Eileen as a son and family member.

Eileen was grandmother of Kevin, Mark (Vanessa), Neal, the late Richard, Luke, Tony, Madeleine, Thomas, Eric, Daniel (Heather), Mishele, Nathaniel, Cecilia, Alicia(Anthony), Owen, Kelsey, Austin, Brandie and Brooke; and great-grandmother of TJ and Hannah, Tasia and Jayden, Maya and Anthony.
