Graveside services were held at the Turner-Helm cemetery Wednesday afternoon, Jan 30th, for the late Cleveland Turner, 62, whose parents were... Luther [and Sarah Savanah DeRossett] Turner, of the early pioneer families of Turner-Helm. Turner died in Manteca after an illness of but a few hours. He is survived by his wife, Merle, of Manteca, two sisters Mrs. Gladys Bennett of Napa and Mrs. Cora Eubanks of Lathrop. Two brothers, Nicholas and James Turner, and a half brother, Charles Brown, preceded him to the grave. Interment was in the family plot at the Turner-Helm cemetery.
