Donald R. Adams 86 of the Cobb Community died Wednesday, October 21 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. He was a farmer, member of Blue Spring Missionary Baptist Church, was a Kentucky Colonel, former chairman of the Caldwell County Conservation District, and former member and officer of the National Farmer Organization. He is survived by one son, Robert Adams & wife, Gena, Owasso, OK; three daughters, Linda Adams Hart, Paducah, KY; Vicki Adams Fuller, Princeton, KY; Janie Adams, Kuttawa, KY; eight grandchildren, Susan Rizner, Shannon Hart, Brian Fuller, Amy Whitaker, Zachary Adams, Jordyn Adams, Jacob Adams, Jackson Adams; two great-grandchildren, Ainsley Witaker, Garrett Whitaker; and one sister, Ruth Nichols, & husband, Hoy, Princeton, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret P'Poole Adams; son, Donald Ray Adams, Jr.; parents, Maurice L. Adams and Georgia Cook Adams; and one brother, Jimmie Adams. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Franklin Skaggs officiating assisted by Rev. Wayne Duncan and Rev. Harrell Riley. Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at Morgan's Funeral Home.
