SAMUEL "SAM" BOWEN BONHAM was born on 13 April 1912 to William Edwin Bonham and Lelia Fitzhugh Bryarly-Bonham.

Sam was FIRST married to Zula Winifred West on 18 June 1933 in Oklahoma, and they had TWO children of record:

Lilia Claire Bonham (1936 - ?) and
Bonham (son) (circa 1940-?).

Sam's second marriage was on 9 July 1969 to Mary L. Spencer (1928-?), and there is no record of issue during this marriage.

Sam passed away on 27 April 1989 in Hopkins County, Texas, and he was laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery in Tazewell, Hopkins County, Texas.

NOTE: Texas Death Index 1964-1998 indicates that Sam's 1st wife, Zula Winifred West-Bonham passed away on 29 Mar 1993 in Hopkins County, Texas.
