Dale Lynn Lancaster, 62, of Gladstone, MO, passed away at his home on February 8, 2013. A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the White Chapel Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Winford Dale and Evelyn June (Cook) Lancaster-Ewing and stepfather Vernon B. Ewing of Memphis, MO.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years Connie (Bourn) Lancaster of the home; four children, Brandon Chase Lancaster of St. Joseph, MO, Peggy Lynn Lancaster of Versailles, MO, Ashley Lynette (Lancaster) Lee and her husband Ricky of Kansas City, MO, Alissa LeAnn Lancaster, her partner Danielle of Kansas City, MO; and five grandchildren.
Dale worked for the Memphis Pepsi Cola Company prior to transferring to Kansas City in 1978 where he worked for Pepsi Cola for another 10 years. Dale operated his own vending and fountain equipment service company for five years. Dale retired from the Kansas City Auto Auction after 10 years of service.
Dale enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; hunting and fishing; antiquing and watching NASCAR and golf on the weekends.
Dale's love and humor will be greatly missed.
