Mildred O. Andress, 96, died Monday October 19, 2015 at home. She was the wife of the late Herbert A. Andress, Jr.
Mildred was born on March 21, 1919 in Norristown, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Steward Michener and the late Sadie McCurdy Michener.
She was a Graduate of West Chester High School class of 1937. Mildred had worked in her father’s store, Michener’s Stationary Store and also worked as an Office Administrator for Dr. White in West Chester, Pa.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, West Chester Chapter 352.
Mildred loved cats and was an avid Eagles fan.
She is survived by her nephew, niece and cousins. Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 29, at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 S. New Street, West Chester, PA 19382, with an Eastern Star Service beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by her Funeral Service.
Interment will be held in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to S.P.C.A., 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380, and/or Calvary Lutheran Church at the above address.
