Rev. Walter D. Bigby, 54, of Lodi, CA, former pastor of the Calvary Temple was dead on arrival at Lodi Community Hospital following a possible heart attack.
Born in Stilwell, OK Rev. Bigby moved to Klamath Falls in 1935 where he was in the lumber business. He later became a pastor and evangelist .
He is survived by his wife Tessie; two sons, Eddie and Virgil, a daughter, Barbara, two brothers, both Reverends, four sisters, and five grandchildren.
Five ministers officiated at the funeral services on March 23, at 2 p.m. in the Calvary Temple.
