Bill Woods, 58, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.
He was surrounded by family and friends when he died at his home in Robert Lee, Texas.

Bill was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Corpus Christi to Jack and Eleanor Woods.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet Woods of Robert Lee; daughter Jennifer Woods of Chattanooga, Tennessee; mother Eleanor Sunshine Woods; sisters Carol O'Dell and Sandra Bayze; brother Earl Norman Woods; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jack Woods; and son Chris Woods.

Bill served in the U.S. Army for 10 years, where he achieved the rank of staff sergeant. After serving his country he joined the team of West Central in San Angelo, Texas, and worked there until he retired in 2015. He was a member of Robert Lee Baptist Church.

Bill enjoyed making people laugh with his witty one-liners. He had many special friends whom he loved dearly. He loved to go camping with family and friends. He also loved to work on his tractor, ride around on his land and sit at the creek and think.
