She was born in the Dongola Community of Searcy County, Arkansas on December 30th, 1928 to Jack and Maybelle (Harrell) Smith.
Jerrie was a devout Christian. She was a wonderful and beautiful mother to her children. Her generous, kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Jerrie is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Linda; brothers, Buck, Don, Doug and T.M.; and one sister, Hazel.
Survivors include six sons, Danny Ragland of Marshall, Mike Ragland of Berryville, Ronnie Ragland, Jackie Ragland, Fred Ragland, Joe Ragland and Jerry Don Ragland, all of Marshall; daughter, Joyce Kazmierski of Marshall; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Modene, Verna Mae, Maxine and Demoia; and brothers, Jackie, Pete and Woody.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 at Dongola Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Steve Jones officiating and music by Merlene Watts Freeman.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
