Kathy was well known for her artistic talent. She painted many works of her favorite scenes and several hang in the homes of her family and friends as well as many galleries in eastern North Carolina. She will be forever remembered for her infectious laughter that filled every room she entered. Her grace and kindness touched all who had the privilege of her friendship.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Alan Weil. They enjoyed a long happy marriage full of love, laughs, travel, and life-long friendships.
Kathy is survived by her daughter Shannon Weil Potts and her granddaughter Grace Alan Potts of Goldsboro. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy Rash and husband Fred, sister, Lynn Holder, and brother, Spurgeon Emmett Adcock III and wife Emily, as well as her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Holder, Erin Holder Williams, Judy Holder, Leigh Rash Burkett, and Andy Rash. In the last several years she has enjoyed the companionship of her dear friend, Mitchum Stroud.
There will be a private graveside ceremony at Willow Dale Cemetery.
