Dorothy was born in Ashland, KY in 1938 and moved to Fort Pierce in 1977. She enjoyed working as a Sales Clerk for many years at the landmark Ft. Pierce Woolworth's on Orange Avenue until it's closing.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Donald M. Green; her brother, George D. Wegener; her sister-in-law, Peggy Wegener; her nieces, Cheryl Brush (Brian), Sally Bloomquist (Richard), Linda Cochrane (Bill); and her great-nieces, Amber Hooks (Jason), Beth Reed (Tim) and great-nephew Rick Bloomquist (Kara).
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Sadie Wegener; her brother, William C. Wegener, and her sister-in-law, Wanda Wegener.
Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dogs & Cats Forever in Fort Pierce.
