Cyndi was born in London England. She was evacuated to the country when the Germans started to bomb London at the beginning of WW2.The children were placed with strangers and were abused and half starved.After the war ended she and her siblings, two sisters, Ruth and Valerie and two brothers returned to London . She left England, married and came to the United States with an Air Force soldier .She had two sons and one daughter.She became a citizen of the United States,but retained her British accent and her British sense of humor.
