William P. Cornish died at his home, 208 W. Stone Alley, early Thursday morning of dropsical consumption, aged 73 years. He had been an invalid with inflammatory rheumatism for the past nine years, and a few months ago was taken with the disease of which he died. Mr. Cornish had been a resident of this city for the past two years, having moved here from Lee Center. He leaves his wife, a daughter, Miss Myrtle Cornish of this city, two sons, Charles H. of Solon Mills, Ill., and Wilbur, of this city, four sisters, Mrs. Helen Brooks of Batavia, Ill., Mrs. Sarah Herring and Mrs. Eliza Wilder of Marcellus, and Mrs. Mary Thayer of Lindenville, Orleans county, and three brothers, Albert Cornish of Oneida, John Cornish of Chicago, and Daniel Cornish of Oregon. The funeral will be held at Lee Center this afternoon.
