Jeffery Brian "JB" Kennedy age 58, a life long Rushville area resident, was hunting with his brother when his Lord called him home Oct. 20, 2015 in Rush County.
He was born April 25, 1957 in Rushville a son of the late Clarence E. & Delores E. (Hornaday) Kennedy. He graduated RCHS in 1975 and then married Leca Keihn on May 14, 1976 and she survives.
Jeff worked many years for Foamcraft and most recently worked for D.O. Corn and Son as a carpenter. He was a member of the Faith Community Church of God in Manilla.
Missing him are his wife, Leca, of Rushville, his sons, Jason (wife Chelan) Kennedy, Jeremy (wife Jennifer) Kennedy; daughter, Amber (husband JR) Herbert; brothers, Bruce and Brad Kennedy and Tim (wife Lisa) Kennedy and a sister, Angela Kennedy, all of Rushville; 21 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Family & Friends will gather from 10AM to 12PM Saturday Oct. 24th at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory in Rushville.
Rev. Charles Justice will speak at 12 Noon with special music being played in his Jeff's remembrance.
Cremation will follow the services and he will be buried at Rushville's East Hill Cemetery at a later date.
