BURLEY - Reine Robinson, 84, of Burley, and a former longtime resident of Oakley, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at her home.

Reine was born Oct. 12, 1931, in Oakley, Idaho, the daughter of Silas Asahel and Verla Kidman Fairchild. She attended school through the seventh grade at the Basin School and completed her education in Oakley.

She married Jay Lee “Bud” Robinson on June 4, 1948, in Elko, NV. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Utah LDS Temple on Sept. 9, 1981.

She was privileged to be a stay-at-home mom and used her many talents in creating a beautiful home to live in. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and needle point, and was an avid gardener.

Reine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as a Relief Society president twice, Primary president and teacher, had worked in the Young Women and the stake Relief Society, as librarian, and was a dedicated visiting teacher.

Most important to Reine was the calling of wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her entire life in providing a loving and secure environment for her family. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a loving grandmother.

She is survived by her eternal companion of 67 years, Bud Robinson, of Burley; children, Randy (Karla) Robinson, of Oakley, Sandra (Bart) Linderman, of Rexburg, and Trent (Terisa) Robinson, of Burley; son-in-law, Brent Weedop, of Oakley; 13 grandchildren; 17 (with one on the way) great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Hardy, of Grand Junction, CO; and brother, Basil (Rowene) Fairchild, of Oakley.

Reine was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Paula Fairchild; her daughter, Karen Weedop; grandson, Trevor Linderman; and great-grandson, Ryder Robinson.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Oakley LDS Stake Center, 355 N. Center Ave., in Oakley, with Bishop Doug Pickett officiating. Burial will be in the Basin Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
