Addison W. Ranney, who has been a resident of Cortland for about ten years, died after a two days' illness at his home on Homer ave. from kidney trouble last Friday afternoon. Mr. Ranney was a native of Summer Hill, having spent all his 62 years of life there until moving to Cortland. The funeral was held Monday morning and burial was made in the Rural cemetery. Besides four sons who acted as bearers, he leaves a wife and one daughter.
