Eva Estelle Jackson, 76, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
She was born April 2, 1939 in Jonesville to the union of her parents, Jesse and Regina McNeely Deville.
She was a retired home health caregiver.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, at Mayna Church of God in Mayna with Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Interment followed in the Pala-Alto Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Paul Jackson; sisters, Audrey Christensen, Corrine Byrd and Bobbie Beaubouef; and brother, Milton Deville.
Survivors include her husband, Ora D. Jackson, Jr.; daughters, Renee Jackson and Deloris Sinclair; sons, Keith Deville and Kerry Deville; sister, Gertrude Dauzart; brothers, Melvin Deville and Huey Deville; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
