Born in Danville Dec. 4, 1932, he was a son of the late Charles Anthony and Anna (Selvoski) Bolesta. Charles was a 1950 graduate of Mount Carmel High School.
He had been a Kulpmont resident since 1966 and was employed as an IBM customer engineer.
In 1957, in St. Anne's Catholic Church, Pottstown, he married the former Rita Meisner, who survives.
He was a former member of St. Mary's BVM Church, a recent member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont; he was a member and past commander of the Kulpmont American Legion and a member of the Kulpmont Lions Club. He enjoyed golfing.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as well as the Vietnam Era.
In addition to his wife, Rita, he is survived by two sons, Keith, of Kulpmont, and Kevin and his wife, Karen, of Allentown; a sister, Catherine Bolesta, of Mount Carmel; a granddaughter, Audrey, of Allentown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Josephine Urbanowicz, Theresa Bolesta and Dorothy Korzeniecki and a brother, Anthony Bolesta.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer, officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. C.J.
