Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Ainsworth officiating assisted by Dr. Billy Burke, pastor. Burial was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.
Fisher was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Red River County, Texas, the son of Rubon Emmit and Edna Mae Shackelford Fisher. He married Mable Harmon July 23, 1944, in McKinney, Texas.
An oil field truck driver, he was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Electra since 1953, and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Terry Fisher of Electra, Jerry Fisher of Arlington, Gary Don Fisher of Harrold and Barry Fisher of Electra; his mother, Edna Fisher of Quanah; one brother, Alvin Fisher of Quanah; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Marsh, Ray Hyde, Doc Stephens, Don Givens, Glen Parker and Pat Boyle._
