Rick was born in Portland, OR to Roy and Lovelle (Krohn) Bair. He was raised in Washougal where he graduated from high school. Rick took classes at Clark College and briefly worked as a Clark County Deputy Sheriff. He then drove bus for the Camas School District and later became the transportation mechanic for 33 years before retiring. He then spent 6 years as a substitute bus driver. Rick was a volunteer firefighter for the Washougal Fire Department for 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Louanne Marshall in 2003.
Survivors include his wife, Tina, at home; mother, Lovelle Bair of Vancouver; sisters, Barbara Bair of Vancouver and Christine Camps of Washougal.
