Mrs. Jenkins, widow of the late Capt. James Jenkins, died about noon today of old age and general debility. Deceased was born in 1818 in New Orleans, of New England parentage, and came here with her husband in 1857. Her maiden name was Ann Elizabeth Ward.
She was the mother of Mrs. Day of Boston, and the late Mrs. Charles Barber, and stepmother to J. Howard Jenkins of this city and Mrs. W. B. Folds of Minneapolis, and the late Mrs. J. J. Sprague.
The funeral will be held from Trinity church on Monday at 3 p.m. Rev. J. W. Greenwood will conduct the services, assisted by Rev, F. R. Haff. The Interment will be at Riverside.
