She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Diamond Rebekah Lodge, Truro Historical Society and life member of Bible Hill Women's Institute. Truro. She was actively involved in floral arranging at Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition, Truro and active in community affairs. She was widely known for her doll collection. She is survived by a daughter, Patsy (Mrs. Al Wamboldt), Crowes Mills, Colchester County; son, David, Crowes Mills; brother, Eric, Bible Hill; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; sister, Jean; two brothers, Roy, David (Allison).
